JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Design, organize and lead the entire accounting team and activities
- Ensure required accounting data is gathered and validated / vetted
- Ensure all accounting journals / transactions are fully reviewed prior to being posted to the ledger
- Organize the team to prepare financial statements
- Plan, organize and manage monthly closing to meet deadline and quality required
- Design and implement proper controls (accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.) and propose actions to reduce & mitigate risks
- Manage well expenses with documents/ transactions accuracy & fully under authority legal purpose
- Lead accounting effort in transforming from VAS to IFRS
- Plan, organize and lead statutory audits
- Collaborate with other departments to organize physical counts for fixed assets and inventory
- Plan, organize and lead operational effort in regulatory audits (tax, customs, etc.)
- Create and put into place financial rules, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the accounting processes.
2. Design and manage the end-to-end accounts payable process
- Ensure proper 3-way matching is performed (as part of Procure To Pay process)
- Ensure invoices are paid on time and accurately
- Provide adequately accurate cash forecasts for accounts payable area
- Authorize / approve related banking documents including but not limited to payments
3. Playing key role in other areas
- Ensure fixed assets are created on time, and depreciation expenses are booked properly
- Provide or propose adequate training to Accounting team
- Offer necessary accounting guidance to all accounting personnel, including those carrying out accounting tasks at branches
- Work on other tasks assigned by direct manager
JOB REQUIREMENT
- 5+ years's experience in Accounting Manager
- Fluent English (Writing, speaking, business English)
- Previous experience working in Big4 is preferred
- ACCA, CIMA are preferred
- Good at partnering, Growth mindset
- We prefer candidates who live in Tuy Hoa, Nha Trang, Binh Dinh or willing to relocate
